This collection contains materials created and donated by Shippensburg University undergraduate students of Dr. Steven Burg and Dr. John Bloom of the Shippensburg History & Philosophy Department. The Oral History Collection weaves the story of student lives and faculty experiences throughout different periods at Shippensburg University told in their own voice. The collection includes oral history transcripts, audio recordings on CDs, student papers, and release forms. The record group includes Series 1 (Residence Life), Series 2 (Civil Rights), Series 3 (Meet Me at Stewart Hall), Series 4 (Disabilities), Series 5 (APSCUF Strike), and Series 6 (Shippensburg Railroad). There is a printed subject index list located in the front of each box 1 for each series to assist with research.

Overview
The series contains firsthand recollections of disabled Shippensburg University alumni, faculty, and administrators about their experiences on campus. It also documents the history of the Disabilities Study Program. The documents in this series include oral history transcripts, recollections of former students, student papers, and restricted release forms. There is a printed subject index list located in the front of box one to assist with research.
