The Communication/Journalism Department was not established until the 1973/1974 academic year. There are minutes dated 1972, but the catalog did not mention any communication department during that year. The name of the department changed between 2020-2021 to Communication, Journalism, and Media. Materials in this series include meeting minutes, correspondence, and publications. Box 1, Folder 4 contains some materials that are restricted until November 9, 2050 and are located in a white paper folder within the folder.
