Overview

The Psychology Department was originally named Education and Psychology until 1972. There is a memo in Box 1, Folder 3 that describes the changes and the struggles the young department faced. The series includes Sub-Series 1 (General Business) and Sub-Series 2 (Hugh Aberman Collection). It contains photographs, class lists, meeting minutes, correspondence, and reports. Sub-Series 2 (Hugh Aberman Collection) is a collection of student photographs and classroom lists collected by Dr. Hugh Aberman during his time as faculty in the Psychology Department. Some of the photos are sticking together. They were separated when possible, but if there was a risk of damaging the photo, they were left together. There are also slides and negatives included with the photographs.
