Scope and Contents

From the Record Group: The records of the College of Arts and Sciences document the college curriculum and departmental changes from 1962 when the college assumed a liberal arts program. It dates 1910-2024, bulk 1966-1980 and 2004-2019. They include minutes, newsletters, correspondence, reports, budgets, and administrative papers. The records are arranged in 27 series. Overview

International Studies began in the early 1960s as a “visiting” international student department and progressed to a minor by 2002 and a major in 2013. During the minor and major changes, providing students the opportunity to study abroad became a priority in addition to providing services for visiting international students.
