Overview

The university archives was established in the 1960s. It was not until around 2004 that it was given serious attention and efforts were made to use archival standards in the management and organization of the archives. Archives staff began digitization endeavors by 2017. Box 1, Folder 24 has a guest register book that was used as a sign-in register for visitors/researchers of the Archives until this was done electronically. Box 2, Folder 9 includes an email with responses to a quoted article in the Slate that shows their misrepresentation in the article. Box 3, Folders 10a and 10b are papers written by students who did the bulk of their research in the archives and donated their papers.
