Overview This department was started in 1989by President Dr. Anthony Ceddia to address the needs of African American students and was called the Office of Minority Student Affairs. Over the years, the organization broadened its mission to include other minority students and groups on campus. In 1994, the name changed to The Office of Multicultural Student Affairs.
